Current clients will soon be able to book and cancel appointments through the client portal.
Cancellation Policy
Except in emergency situations (e.g., unforeseen illness, car accident, death in the family, severe weather warnings), cancellations must be received at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment time to avoid a late cancellation or missed appointment fee. Arriving for a session 20 minutes or more past the appointment time without communicating the delay or making other arrangements in advance is considered a missed appointment.
The late cancellation and missed appointment fees are $100 for 50-minute sessions and $25 for group therapy or group skills course sessions. Repeated cancellations and missed appointments will result in the full session rate being charged after the third time.
This policy is in place because late cancellations and missed appointments do not allow me to schedule another client for the session time and because insurance companies do not reimburse for missed or cancelled appointments.
Illness Policy
If you, your child or family member are experiencing symptoms of illness, especially influenza- or COVID-like symptoms, vomiting, diarrhea, or fever; please consider meeting virtually or rescheduling your in-person appointment for another day. Likewise, when I am ill or need to care for an ill family member, I will contact you as soon as possible to offer a virtual session or to reschedule the session for another day, depending on the situation.
