Individual Therapy

Individual sessions are available in-person and virtually.

Parent Child Interaction Therapy

PCIT is an adult led and play-based therapy that supports the social-emotional development of young children. Parents report a increased sense of cooperation, fewer tantrums, and less parenting stress. They note growth in their child’s self pride and resilience in handling frustrating or disappointing situations.

PCIT is designed for children (ages 2 to 7) and their caregivers who are feeling stuck in negative interaction patterns. It is effective for children with symptoms of ADHD, autism, anxiety, aggression, and attachment needs. Dr. Hoida has been practicing as a Certified Parent Child Interaction Therapy therapist since 2022.

PCIT is effective in-person and via telehealth.

Parent Coaching

Parent coaching is a collaborative approach that supports you in supporting your child’s social-emotional and adaptive needs and mental health symptoms. It offers practical approaches and skills to help you parent more effectively and in alignment with your goals and values.

Parent coaching can be helpful in supporting parents of children and adolescents. It is a great option if your child has “outgrown” PCIT, but is not yet ready for individual therapy. If your child is not open to or motivated for their own therapy, parent coaching can support you to better support your child.
